Sinar Mas Land is committed in ensuring the availability of clean water facilities for our customers and surrounding communities. Responding to the flood disaster in first quarter every year, Kota Deltamas has provided clean water facilities for communities in and surrounding Bekasi Regency.
To expedite the reduction of stunting nationwide, Sinar Mas Land administered two programs in close collaboration with local village-level healthcare center and Integrated Health Post for Child Health (Posyandu). In 2024, the program served a total of 26 posyandu branches and 104 Posyandu cadres.
The Digital Technology Grant, in collaboration with Techpolitan and the Tangerang Regency Government, is a coding and programming grant program designed for students living near BSD City. This initiative aims to prepare the workforce for the digital technology era.
Our commitment to curbing the spread of dengue fever persisted as we conduct regular fogging in KIIC, along with several neighboring villages.
We implemented the Social Care for Community program, designed to support our communities through the donation of cooking oil in our ITC projects. The ITC Group organized events in collaboration with the regional metropolitan police force, benefitting approximately 250 customers per year.
Pasar Rakyat Berdaya, formerly known as Pasar Rakyat Go Digital, is a training programme designed to support the sustainability of MSMEs in BSD City’s public market. It focuses on three pillars: Pasar Rakyat School, Pasar Rakyat Go Digital, and MSMEs Goes to Halal Certificate. In 2024, Pasar Rakyat Berdaya successfully engaged with 1,083 MSMEs, provided digital payments training for 632 MSMEs, and assisted 184 MSMEs from BSD City Modern Market. Five selected MSMEs received complimentary halal certificate assistance facilitated by SML, while 20 MSMEs achieved legal certifications.
SML launched its blood donation programme in 2013, encouraging employees to join the pool of regular voluntary blood donors across the country. In 2024, we organised a blood donation event at our ITC projects and collected a total of 1,830 blood bags from donors at various locations, including Surabaya, Roxy Mas, Cempaka Mas, Kuningan, Permata Hijau, Fatmawati, and Depok.
To ensure the well-being of both our customers and communities, we remain committed to upholding health and safety standards in our project areas. Up to 2022, we provided several facilities and services to support the government and communities in responding to COVID-19 through setting up a vaccine center for the local community, conducting disinfection in public areas and distributing food supplies to communities in several regions of Indonesia.
Bina Usaha MSME program is designed to enrich the knowledge and capability of MSMEs in various aspects including product quality, branding, financial management, strategic marketing and business management. The BSD MSME Centre, formerly Sentra Kriya (Craft Centre) at BSD Knowledge House, serves as a hub for participants enrolled in the Bina Usaha MSME program to undergo training in establishing and sustaining successful business ventures. To support this program, we also provide a MSME corner to facilitate marketing and sales of products.
Kampung Mantul forms an integral part of SML’s sustainability initiative aimed at empowering the communities of South Tangerang and Tangerang District village community to effectively manage their living environment, fostering a healthy atmosphere, and ensuring food security (ketahanan pangan). The programme’s primary objective is to instigate a shift in people’s attitudes towards food security and self-reliance which aligned with SDG 2: Zero Hunger.
Designated as a Biological Variety Park spanning over 3 hectares of land near KIIC, Telaga Desa Agro Enviro Education Park is a center for agricultural and fisheries research and education, environmental conservation, and ecotourism.
Sinar Mas Land provide scholarships to students in several villages within KIIC Ring 1 to support their education and skills development, thereby contributing to the enhancement of capabilities and competencies among local Indonesian talent.
The Local Agriculture Partnership Program is a community initiative established to foster sustainable and eco-friendly farming practices among regional farmers in the surrounding areas of Sinar Mas Land’s operations. Since its inception in 2022, the programme has utilized approximately 166 hectares of land owned by SML across sevent villages in the Rumpin District, Kabupaten Bogor: Mekar Sari, Kerta Jaya, Cipinang, Suka Mulya, Taman Sari, Rumpin, and Kampung Sawah
Intermoda modern market was launched in March 2016. Occupying a land area of 2.6 hectares, the doublestorey modern market consists of 539 retail kiosks and 220 stalls. The market is an integrated part of the Intermoda bus terminal and the newly renovated Cisauk train station to support the Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) area in BSD City.
BSD Literature Centre is dedicated to providing education and literature program for local communities, fostering learning and development in local communities. the center offered a variety of programs including These Include Computer Center, Literature Center, Playing Center, Audio Visual Center and Sign Language Center.
Green Habit 2.0, known as Plastic to Food program, serves a dual purpose, functioning as an educational tool for the public about the 3R principles for managing plastic waste and as a corporate social responsibility program to improve community food security.

Inaugurated in 2021, Sekolah Berhati is one of our educational program whose objective is to elevate the quality of education in schools surrounding the BSD City area. Centered around the virtues of caring for the environment, the program aims to increase students' literacy and environmental knowledge and offer opportunities for students to develop personal character, such as independence, entrepreneurship, and faith or spirituality-based values.
We believe in the importance of instilling a sense of faith within communities, helping them navigate life's diverse challenges with courage. To achieve this, we conduct a program that guides communities in learning how to read the Holy Quran.
Throughout the years, we undertook several improvement and repair projects in educational facilities. These initiatives included renovating classrooms at Elementary School, enhancing prayer rooms and mosques, maintaining public cemeteries, upgrading sports hall facilities, and refurbishing a student dormitory at an Islamic boarding school.
KADO KITA is an educational tourism village based on traditional children's games/dolanan, initiated in Kampung Dadap Barat, Rawa Buntu Village, Serpong District, South Tangerang. Established on 18 November 2023, by seven activists, who are known as Mpok Wati. KADO KITA showcases various traditional games for children from Kampung Dadap, with activities such as stilt walking, hula hooping, long bakiak, archery, and gobak sodor.
