In 2024, SML achieved a milestone with The Armont Residence, the first green homes project in Indonesia to earn a “Gold” certification from the Green Building Council Indonesia (GBCI). Spanning 145,332 m² in BSD City, the project integrates 30% green open space, easy access to public amenities, and features that promote sustainable living.
The homes prioritise energy and water efficiency through solar water heaters, natural ventilation, low-flow fixtures, and communal treatment plants, while sustainable construction practices include responsible sourcing, waste reduction of up to 80%, and a communal sewage treatment system. These innovations enhance resident comfort, reduce environmental impact, and make green living more accessible.
By focusing on environmentally friendly features and responsible construction practices, the project not only improves the quality of life for its residents but also reduces the environmental impact on the surrounding area.
