Batam, May 1, 2021 — The Kaina Tower’s apartment units at The Nove, Nuvasa Bay, began its handover to the customers on Friday, April 30, 2021. The ten-storey tower thus would become the first ready-for-occupancy apartment at Nuvasa Bay in Batam. The handover, held right on schedule, showed the Kaina Tower’s construction had not stopped amid the pandemic. With strict health protocols applied, the handover took place at Nuvasa Bay which is already certified with CHSE (Cleanliness, Healthy, Safety, and Environmental Sustainability) from TUV  Rheinland, Sucofindo, Mutu Certification International, as well as Tourism and Creative Economy Ministry. To prevent people from crowding, the handover was held gradually.

“Since the Kaina Tower’s construction began in 2018, it had never been an easy job, especially when the Covid-19 pandemic started in early 2020. We try to give the best results on time to the customers. The handover of the Kaina Tower’s apartment units proves our commitment and responsibility for everyone’s trusts,” says CEO for East Indonesia of Sinar Mas Land Franky Najoan. The tower has 165 units, and each is sold at a minimum Rp500 million. So far, as many as 98 percent units have been sold.

It is all thanks to the Kaina Tower’s complete facilities for the residents, both inside the building or around the premises. They can have a good time at the swimming pool, gym, jogging track, garden, and other outdoor facilities set in a green surrounding with clean air. In addition, they can also have fun at the family recreation centers at the Sea Forest Adventure Park. All these are some of the facilities at Nuvasa Bay which sits on a 228-hectare land with a 1.2-kilometer coast line, directly facing the neighboring Singapore.

Nuvasa Bay offers the biggest golf course in Batam called Palm Springs Golf and Country Club which has 27 holes. Complete and international quality facilities are available to cater to the Nuvasa Bay’s residents needs including residential and golf club house, hospitals, hotels, education centers, entertainment centers, and other supporting facilities just like those in an independent city.

Nuvasa Bay is strategically located in Nongsa, one of Batam’s potential districts. Nuvasa Bay is very accessible as it takes only 30 minutes to Singapore from the Nongsa Pura Ferry Port which is only two kilometers from Nuvasa Bay, and merely 15 minutes to Hang Nadim International Airport. Thanks to its premium location, access, and panoramic sceneries, Nuvasa Bay has become a very promising property investment option and tourism destination. On a recent visit to Nuvasa Bay, Tourism and Creative Economy Minister Sandiaga Uno said, “Hopefully the Nuvasa Bay’s construction will go well to encourage the private sectors’ contribution to the government’s economy and tourism programs.”

Sinar Mas Land keeps developing Nuvasa Bay through various means. One of those is by initiating a cooperation between Sinar Mas Land and Citra Mas Group in 2019. That collaboration began by developing a 62-hectare area called Nongsa D-Town which serves as a digital bridge between Indonesian and Singapore. This area is designed to be a hub for the digital and creative workers, startups, and technology corporations.
