BSD City, June 1, 2021 — The government began the second-stage vaccination program for public service officers, senior citizens, and teachers who make the educator and education staff (PTK) category. These centers were presented by the Health Ministry and Tangerang Regency Public Health Office, Eka Hospital, Siloam Hospital, Hermina Hospital, and Ciputra Hospital. This vax program saw 1,688 participants and was held on May 28, 29, and 31, 2021.

Managing Director for President Office of Sinar Mas Land Dhony Rahajoe said, “Sinar Mas Land will always support the government with the vaccine acceleration, especially for the teachers who will go back to conducting offline learning and teaching routines, and the elderly who are prone to the Covid-19 virus. We hope those vaccination centers help everyone stay healthy and provide the teachers, students, and their families with such comfort and safety.”

The QBig’s vax centers in BSD City received a warm welcome from Head of Disease Prevention and Control of Tangerang Regency Public Health Office dr. Hendra Tarmizi, MARS. “We appreciate Sinar Mas Land for initiating the vaccine centers in QBig, BSD City. Everything went well and smoothly. The senior citizens are still the main priorities for the government’s vax program as they are more vulnerable to the Covid-19 infection compared to the other age groups. In addition, the teachers need the shots as well, so the offline teaching and learning activities may run safely and conveniently according to the health protocols,” says Hendra.

Other than vaccinating teachers in BSD City’s QBig, Sinar Mas Land also held other vax centers with the Public Health Offices of South Tangerang, Tangerang Regency, and DKI Jakarta in various locations since April 2021. In BSD City, the centers were meant for small-scale merchants, tourism staff, and public service officers. At ITC Mangga Dua in Jakarta, those centers were for the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise (UMKM) owners. As many as 27,543 people received their much needed shots from the Sinar Mas Land’s vaccine centers in various locations.
