BSD City, 30 Juli 2021 – To celebrate Islamic holy sacrificial day Idul Adha 1441 Hijriah, Sinar Mas Land with its Sinar Mas Land’s Muslim Foundation (YMSML) donated 465 sacrificial livestocks to Ar-Rahman Mosque in BSD City, Friday (7/31). As a symbolic gesture, BSD Head of Township Management Judy K. Halim, YMSML Chairman Bambang Setiawan, and CRS Department Head of Sinar Mas Land Idham Muchlis handed one of the sacrificial cows to the BSD City-based Ar-Rahman Mosque leader (imam) Habib Fadholi at Ar-Rahman Mosque. This donation, meant to forge solidarity and create ukhuwah (a sense of brother or sisterhood in Islam) on Idul Adha, was held according to the health protocol standards to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus.

Create ‘Ukhuwah’ with Yayasan Muslim Sinar Mas

Sinar Mas’ Muslim Foundation (YMSM) with all Sinar Mas’ business units donated 597 sacrificial livestocks within the company’s work sites. One of its business units that came along and showed some solidarity for Idul Adha was Sinar Mas Land that donated 465 sacrificial livestocks for Idul Adha to several mosques in Sinar Mas Land’s project sites namely BSD City, Grand Wisata Bekasi, Kota Deltamas Cikarang, Kota Wisata Cibubur, Grand City Balikpapan, Klaska Residence Surabaya, Legenda Wisata Cibubur, Nuvasa Bay Batam, Wisata Bukit Mas Surabaya, Karawang International Industrial City (KIIC), Le Grandeur Mangga Dua, Rooms Inc. Semarang, DP Mall Semarang, ITC Group, Mal Ambassador, and Mal Mangga Dua.

Meanwhile, Sinar Mas Mining gave 129 sacrificial livestocks to several cities in some provinces including West Sumatra, South Sumatra, South Kalimantan, East Kalimantan, and Jambi. Smartfren Muslim workers called Karyawan Muslim Smartfren also joined in and held the same event at the office of PT Smartfren Telecom, Tbk. in Sabang, Central Jakarta.
